The crampon grommets are made of very durable material and the product is ideal for frozen ground.

make sure the crampon is worn all the way down for proper use
use on frozen/earthy terrain (not on rock, not on paving/asphalt)
the grip comes with a cover that is used to insert the grip onto the shaft
the indoor tip cover is not to be considered as a rubber, but as a temporary protection for limited movements and to help to fit the rubber.
it is recommended to assemble in not frozen environments, to make easier the assembly (the rubber/plastic to frost is hard and more difficult to fit)
